Its big but comfortable on my wrist - 7 inch.
I bought this thinking I was buying an everyday beater due to its cheap price but I ended up liking it so much I bought another divers watch for every day serious beating and keep this for less sweaty days - leather band and all.
I love the way it looks although my wife hates it. Everyone comments and many mock due to its "read across the room" sesnability but I'm very happy

Sport Some Russian Diver Love

This is a great watch and the lume on the dial is out of this world. I just wish I would have waited two more days because even though I purchased it on sale, it dropped about 15 bucks more a couple of days after my purchase.
It was worth the price I paid and more though so that's fine. This is my 4th Russian Diver and it won't be my last. If it's under 198 bucks when you read this review, grab it up. This RD has a Swiss Ronda 5040d movement, which is an excellent movement and keeps great time. Great design and another great watch by Invicta.

Bought the Fossil for my wife. It is a good watch (pretty, expensive looking, fit well, etc.) but it was not the oversized kind she wanted. this watch is not the man sized watch a lot of females prefer today. No problem. My wife took it to a local store with the Fossil product line and got what whe wanted. Every thing turned out fine.

Bling bling

This was a Christmas present for my boyfriend. I was surprised when I received it that it was so fancy. In the picture I thought it looked nice and fairly basic. The thing that you can’t really see is that the hours are marked with to CZ crystals and it makes it a lot flashier than I would have thought. Very beautiful watch.

This watch has a big face and dial. It takes up my whole wrist width. That in itself makes a statement of one kind regarding fashion that you are wearing. It is a silver matte, not white dial face. The crystals are just crystals, not CZ’s like someone said but crystals have some lead added for more luster.

It is not a screw down crown. It is a one click up for setting the date quickly in reverse and the upper pull on the crown will set the time. Not screw down. But nice to change the date faster than rolling the hands around for hours to change the date.

The crystals sparkle depending on the light in the room and the color reflections of things in the room. In some rooms it does nothing but look like low sparkle and some places it blings; But I don’t think it has too much sparkle, just enough. I can’t hardly make out the small bezel crystals but that is a nice touch to not be too over bearing. Can’t figure out what the little marks are used for between the 0 and 10 second marks. Time is accurate within 1 second per day for me. I’ll have to let it go a month then check it again. Might be better than that but everyone’s watch is different maybe by your movements which might hinder or throw off the quartz movement or maybe temperature and condition of the battery.

The band to me is super stout and the clasp is Fossil’s one push off lock and high quality. It’s a classy watch. I will only wear mine with upper casual to formal type of wear. Don’t wear it to a bankruptcy hearing. Good for higher paid office workers as it has sophistication and not over luxurious. Cops NO.(unless you’re the Chief or Captain) Construction workers NO. Military NO.

Overall nice piece and quite a flowing and harmonious design incorporation as a whole. Still growing on me after a few days of wearing it. (not physically but it looks like it did)

Compared to other Fossil watches I`ve owned over the years, this one feels flimsy and rather cheap. The band has already fallen apart and had to take it to a watch repairman to put the clasp back together…

Very nice watch

This watch is striking…another reviewer pointed out that it looks better in person than in the pictures and that is absolutely true.

Having said that, its not a small watch. If you’re a big person (I am, so don’t think I’m casting aspersions), it will look great on your wrist. But a word of caution: the watch is too big to fit in dress shirt cuffs, particularly if you wear french cuffs with cufflinks. I’ve taken to wearing this watch in evenings and on weekends where it is not an issue. But I can’t wear to work most days.

Beautiful timepiece, but not for small wrists!

I have to say, I love this very nice timepiece. The watch is beautiful and looks better in person than in pictures. However, I bought this as a gift. Unfortunately, the watch on the smallest sizing hole was still too big for the receiver of this gift. I went to a Movado store and they said they cannot do anything to alter the silicon band. I called and visited several watch stores and repair shops, all with the same answers. I finally called Movado, and they were also unable to offer a solution. You possibly could replace the band with a metal version that comes in their rounder version of this watch. However, with the square face and look of this watch, it just wouldn’t look right (and not to mention they weren’t even sure it would fit!).

So in short, it’s a beautiful watch – I ended up keeping it for myself rather than returning it (I’m not too sad about that) but of course had to find a new gift for my friend. I would recommend this lovely watch, with the warning that it will be too large for thin wrists even on the tightest sizing hole.

The Bulova Story

In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.

Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. Beautiful!

This is one beautiful watch! I have a larger wrist and it fits me just fine although I do want another link added just for wiggle room. I called Citizen and they are sending me a couple links free of charge. Fantastic!!

The other reviewer was right, the picture doesn't do it justice. It's substantial without being too heavy. Just perfect. It's the nicest watch I've ever owned and I can't stop looking at it! I have no doubt that this won't be my last Citizen Eco-Drive!!

I'm an eco-drive fan

This is a beautiful watch, somewhere between sporty and classic, suitable for all occasions. You can't tell from the picture, but there is a pleasing combination of matte and shiny silver on the watch and bracelet. I was a little concerned that because of the silver dial it would be hard to see the time at a glance. No problem with that, but you need good eyesight or reading glasses to see the date and minute markers. The bracelet safety catch lies flat so it's keyboard-friendly. As for the eco-drive, it's a great invention, and I would not consider buying another battery-powered watch however much I liked the design. I wear my watch everywhere including in the bath, and most of my previous watches have died after battery replacements left them with faulty seals. I bought this watch as a replacement for another Citizen eco-drive that I'd had forever and recently lost. My old watch kept perfect time and although the bracelet was all scratched up the crystal still looked new. I'm expecting the same performance from this one and hope that whoever found my old watch is enjoying it. Meanwhile I'll enjoy this one - it's much better looking!

Great Watch

I just received this watch today and I am very pleased with the initial quality. It is a solid and very masculine watch. The case is a bright reflective stainless steel and the bezel has a nice, smooth ratchet-like click to it when it is turned to measure elapsed time. The band is wide, yet flexible and comfortable. Because it has automatic movement, as instructed in the manual,I swayed it back and forth about 10 times after removing from the box to get it started. The date and time were very easy to set and the sweep second hand really adds an exclamation point to the impression of quality and style. This watch replaced a Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph that I had to return because of quality problems. I will follow up this review at a later time with an update.

2/6/11 – Follow-Up
Watch is still great. It seems to pick up a few minutes over the course of each month, so it needs to be adjusted back to actual time. This is not a problem as I believe that a little too fast is better than too slow. Also, the automatic movement will stop if not worn for more than 16-20 hours, so plan on resetting the time if you don’t wear everyday or purchase an automatic watch winder. I wear everyday and the face and finish are still perfect. It doesn’t scratch or ding very easily.

Excellent!!!!

I have an older 150m model purchased in 1970. I like the older model, wore it and used it for diving. It was comfortable, even though it was heavy. Only problem was that it did not keep good time.

The new one keeps time very, very accurately!!! I have not reset it in over a month, it is still spot on. Dove with it this weekend and love the fact that like the old one it is very easy to read. My eyes are not what they once were, but no problem reading the Seiko.

I wanted a watch that would not require batteries. I would sure like to know what they did to improve it’s time keeping ability. This is an excellent watch for SCUBA divers. And, for the price … why look at anything else.

I purchased a Seiko with the metal band many years ago and I loved it. On October 23, 1981 I was on a fishing boat that capsized in Moriches Inlet, Long Island N.Y. Among the items I lost was my Seiko. It’s most likely still ticking at the bottom of the Inlet. After procrastinating many years I decided to search for a replacement and found that Amazon offered the watch at a great price. Maintaining Your Skagen Watch

Ensure that the crown is returned to the normal operating position before the watch comes in contact with water. Do not take your watch into a Hot Tub or Sauna. Under normal conditions, the seals in your Skagen watch will deteriorate and may need to be replaced every 2-3 years. Have your Skagen watch serviced by an official service center.

All Skagen watches operate with standard batteries. When necessary, any jeweler can replace them for you. Different models are water resistant to varying degrees. Please refer to the back of your watch for the water resistant rating.

How To Set The Time And Date
Pull the crown out to the middle position. Rotate the crown to set date Pull the crown out to fully extended position and rotate crown to set desired time. Push the crown back to its normal position. The date and time are now set.

Cleaning Your Skagen Watch
Skagen suggests the following solutions for cleaning metal and crystal surfaces:

3:1 solution of ammonia based window cleaner to water 4:1 solution of rubbing alcohol to water. Do not use soap products.

These suggested solutions will evaporate cleanly from metal and glass surfaces. Soap will leave residue behind when dry.

To clean the case and crystal:
Moisten a soft cloth with one of the above solutions. Gently wipe the case and crystal clean. Be careful not to put too much stress on the crystal as you clean. *NEVER immerse or soak the case/crystal portion of the watch, regardless of water resistance rating. Moisture could seep past the seals over time.

To clean the band or strap:
Skagen soft mesh bands are easily adjustable. Simply insert a small screwdriver or similar tool into the clasp. Lift up the clasp without applying pressure to the thin pin across the clasp and move to desired position. Snap closed securely. Make sure the clasp is set in one of the indentations on the back of the band. Link bands are completely adjustable anywhere watches are serviced.

Skagen suggests the following practices for cleaning metal, rubber and leather surfaces:

Metal watchbands
Dip a cotton swab in the above solution, and gently rub it into the soiled portion of the band. For more intricate mesh bands, you may want to use a soft bristle toothbrush or nailbrush. Be sure to cover the case of the watch during this process so as not to soak it. For stubborn soil, you may want to bring it to a jeweler for a professional cleaning.

Rubber watchstraps
Simply wipe them down with a damp, soft cloth. Avoid soaps and solvents as they may dry or crack the plastic.

Leather watchstraps: Top Grain
Top grain leather can be characterized by its smooth, somewhat shiny appearance. To clean this type of leather, follow the same procedure as with the rubber watchband. Simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth, using water only. You may want to use leather conditioner or a small amount of hand lotion to keep the leather supple over time. Top grain leather may develop a milky "haze" if left alone for extended periods. This can simply be wiped away or removed with leather conditioner.

Leather watchstraps: Nubuck
This is essentially full grain leather with the top layer shaved off, leaving a flat, smooth finish. A product called a "nubuck eraser" can be found at better shoe repair shops. It will help to remove most light stains and debris from nubuck.

I got this at a heavily discounted price.When it came I was thrilled by the look.Its an oversize face, easy to read and slim so its not bulky and looks good even on a thin wrist.The proportions between the band and the watch are perfect.I hope to report again in year as to durability and performance.

Skagen black watch

The Skagen stainless steel watch got to me in record time and in great condition. The face is larger than some people might like, but it is easy to read for folks with "older" eyes. The band is comfortable, but probably will require a Skagen replacement because of the unique attachment system to the watch body.

The Victorinox Swiss Army Story

In 1884, Karl Elsener opened a cutlery workshop in Ibach-Schwyz, Switzerland with the support of his mother Victoria. Just like that, Victorinox Swiss Army was born.

In 1891, Elsener and his coworkers deliver knives for soldiers in the Swiss Army for the first time. Six years later, the company legally protected the names Swiss “Officer’s” and “Sport Knife.” The model later became known as the Original Swiss Army Knife.

Following Elsener’s mother’s death in 1909, the company incorporated her name into the brand and unveiled its well-known cross and shield emblem. Elsener arrived at the name Victorinox by combining the name Victoria with “inox,” an abbreviation of the French word for rust-resistant steel, “inoxydable.”

In 1989, Victorinox officially entered the timepiece business in the United States under the brand name Swiss Army. In 1999, Victorinox partners with the American TRG Group in St. Louis and enters into the international travel gear market. Great time piece and won’t cost you.

This is a great watch. I have been a chaser of the Omega Seamaster with the blue face but $2300 is just not in the price range right now (one day). I had a Swiss army prior and had it for about 6 years (still ticking), fine watch but pretty bland. This one though is great, its a heavy watch an awesome looking (there is another Swiss with the blue face with a red Swiss army badge and it felt a little lighter and cheaper). I would recommend this to anyone and I can’t stop looking at it. Its the perfect “in the middle watch”, its not a Rolex or Omega and definitely not a Timex.

The Casio Story
With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.

In developing its own wristwatches Casio began with the basic question, “”What is a wristwatch?”" Rather than simply making a digital version of the conventional mechanical watch, we thought that the ideal wristwatch should be something that shows all facets of time in a consistent way. Based on this, Casio was able to create a watch that displayed the precise time including the second, minute, hour, day, and month — not to mention a.m. or p.m., and the day of the week. It was the first watch in the world with a digital automatic calendar function that eliminated the need to reset the calendar due the variation in month length. Rather than using a conventional watch face and hands, a digital liquid crystal display was adopted to better show all the information. This culminated in the 1974 launch of the CASIOTRON, the world’s first digital watch with automatic calendar. Everything I expected it to be

I have an older Casio watch that I really love, but the battery died recently and I haven’t had a chance to replace it yet. I bought this one to tide me over. This one looks good. It’s light. It’s comfortable. The default display includes the day of the week, date, and time, which is what I like to see on the watch face. The other functions are less useful to me but it’s nice to know they’re there if I need them.

This watch doesn’t sync with atomic time as well as my older Casio did, but it does do so. It usually works best when I’m outside where it probably has clearer access to the radio signal from the atomic clock.

Casio digital watches aren’t Rolexes, of course, but I find them to be inexpensive, reliable, nice-looking timepieces that I’m perfectly happy to wear. They’ve been a favorite of mine for decades and probably always will be.

Bezel too big, numbers too small

I purchased this as a replacement for a Casio Waveceptor that was $10 cheaper. What makes this worth the price is the fact that it checks from midnight to 5 a.m. to synch its time signal with Colorado. In the month since I’ve owned it, there has been only one day when it did not synch with Colorado. The bezel is so large that when I wear a shirt with buttoned sleeves, my wrist hurts because the sleeve presses in on the extremely large bezel. In addition, I find the day, date, year function a bit small in terms of ease of readability. But I just love, love love the waveceptor.

Good Watch, Cool Features

This is a nice & cool watch. like any other Casio watch it gives accurate time. The auto time sync feature is really cool & it works perfectly. But I had hard time setting it up to work for the first time. It syncs with the atomic time only in the mid night & my watch did it in the third night . There after it does it automatically I do not monitor it any more.
